Description:

The Sadie Bench is a simple and smooth design inspired by the feeling of sitting on a park bench on a warm day and feeling the sun’s rays. Living in Pittsburgh, you do not get very many sunny days in a year, so when the sun is shining you need to soak it in. The Sadie Bench has a soft top with rounded edges and solid wood legs turned in ripples on the lathe. The ripples on each leg fit into the ripples of the next, mimicking the dappling of the sun’s rays. My work is handcrafted from raw lumber and made-to-order, therefore it is subject to slight variation in size and material.

Threaded inserts are used in this coffee table making it easy to remove the legs and pack for shipping.

If you are local to Pittsburgh and would like to pickup your work at my woodshop in Homewood then select “Store Pickup” when purchasing.
